iOS developers face unpredictable and often frustratingly long App Store review times, ranging from under an hour to over two weeks with no transparency from Apple. Developers have no way to know if their wait is normal, if something is wrong with their submission, or when they can expect a resolution, leading to anxiety and inability to plan release schedules.
A crowdsourced tracking tool where developers log their submission status changes, generating real-time average review time estimates segmented by app category, developer history, and submission type. The tool provides instant alerts on status changes, predicted review completion times, and community benchmarks so developers know if their wait is abnormal and can plan accordingly.
The App Store ecosystem continues to grow with more developers and stricter review policies, making wait times increasingly variable and unpredictable. Apple's lack of transparency around review queues creates a persistent information gap that developers are actively seeking to fill, as evidenced by frequent community discussions.
