Home server builders struggle with hardware compatibility issues, uncertain power requirements for multiple drives, and lack validated component recommendations for platforms like Proxmox and TrueNAS. Users waste time on forums searching for answers about whether their specific hardware combination will work, often receiving conflicting advice. There's no centralized, data-driven tool to validate builds before purchase or assembly.
A web-based SaaS? tool that analyzes hardware components against a comprehensive compatibility database, calculates PSU load for drive arrays, checks software platform requirements (Proxmox, TrueNAS, Unraid, etc.), and provides build recommendations with performance estimates. Users input their existing or planned hardware to receive instant validation reports, power consumption forecasts, and optimization suggestions.
Home lab adoption is surging post-pandemic, while hardware supply chain fragmentation and platform complexity (ZFS, S2D, etc.) make compatibility more critical than ever. AI-driven analysis can now aggregate community data and spec sheets at scale to provide authoritative guidance.

looking forward to seeing custom cooling fan curves in the future 🙏 also logging task manager data options, even if it's just a couple minutes so it doesn't need to start a fresh log whenever it's opened and the graphs would already be loaded up (dxp2800)
It is great for everyday PC configuring, the only downside is that to access the good features, you need to buy a subscription. It would be 5 star if there was no subscription.
I love this application because this is best application to know how was the basic components price and what is the specification of components installed the system in the PC
