The Problem

SaaS founders launching affiliate programs have no efficient way to discover relevant, high-quality affiliates beyond cold outreach or outdated directories. Existing enterprise platforms like PartnerStack and Impact are overkill and cost-prohibitive for small SaaS products. Founders waste hours cold-DMing random creators with poor response rates and no way to filter by niche, audience fit, or promotion history.

Potential Solution

A searchable marketplace where SaaS founders post their affiliate programs and get algorithmically matched to vetted affiliates — creators, bloggers, YouTubers, and newsletter owners — filtered by niche, audience size, and past promotion categories. Affiliates maintain profiles showing their channels, audience demographics, and what product categories they promote, enabling two-sided discovery. Founders can send targeted partnership requests in bulk while affiliates browse curated program listings relevant to their content.

Why Now?

The explosion of micro-SaaS and indie founder culture has created thousands of small software products with affiliate programs but no scalable distribution channel to recruit partners. Creator monetization is surging, and niche content creators actively seek quality affiliate programs — but there is no modern, SaaS-specific marketplace bridging these two sides efficiently.

Read This If You Feel Like You're Affiliate Marketing Program For Your SaaS Is Too Slow
Ugh this is so relatable and one of the most frustrating things about running a program internally. But the customer-turned-affiliate thing is actually the best outcome you could have had in those first months. Those partners are so much better than cold recruited affiliates because they’re promoting from real experience and their audience can tell. For the founder conversation, if it helps, months one to three are really about infrastructure and figuring out what works. The right question at four months isn’t “how many affiliates are bringing in MRR” it’s “do we know what’s converting and are we ready to scale it.” Sounds like you’re actually in a much better position than it feels right now.

UpPromote Affiliate Marketing

Disappointing Creator Discovery — Expensive, Poor Filtering, and Wasted Time I installed UpPromote for my Shopify store to build a commission-based affiliate program. While the basic affiliate management features seem functional, my experience with the paid Creator Discovery add-on has been extremely disappointing. 1. You pay to discover whether a creator is even relevant. Creator Discovery limits the number of detailed profiles you can view. The Starter
