Teams building AI agents and chatbots need to rigorously test prompt changes, model swaps, and orchestration logic before shipping, but current A/B testing tools were built for traditional web features, not stochastic LLM? outputs. Engineers end up stitching together logging systems, bad-case discovery, offline eval sets, and online experiment frameworks themselves, slowing iteration on agent reliability.
A purpose-built experimentation platform that combines online A/B testing for live AI agent traffic with offline evaluation frameworks against curated test sets. It handles experiment design, traffic splitting, automated bad-case discovery, metric logging, and causal inference analysis so AI engineering teams can pressure-test agent concepts and measure task execution reliability without building this infrastructure in-house.
As AI agents move into production at companies like Decagon, OKX, and Toast, the orchestration and evaluation layer has become the bottleneck for reliability, and generic A/B tools cannot evaluate non-deterministic agent outputs.

One is how do we use AI on existing or standard A/B testing methodologies? Things like building agents that can summarize an experiment readout for a user or a product manager so that they don't need to wait for data scientists to explain all of these things to them. Things like when you're writing a hypothesis, it can compare against your repository and say whether... An experiment like this has already been run or something similar has already been tested and how does that work? Recommending what should be your primary metric, what should be your target segment, all of these things, this is where AI would come in very, very, very close to helping users and guiding them on setting the experiment.
Improve end-to-end AI agent quality (e.g. relevance, fidelity, latency) via empirical evaluation and iteration. Build and enhance systems and tools that enable high-velocity experimentation (e.g. LLM-powered automated evaluation) and customized product experiences.
The Experimentation Edge Right now in this GenAI era, we have... Customers have different expectations for the product, for the platform, and we also have different tools. One recent advance we started looking more into is leveraging LLM-based agents. For example, what if we use these agents to simulate real customer behavior? We're far from replacing real AB tests with some agents. But maybe we can get cheaper and faster simulation layer just to screen all these hypotheses so we can prioritize on those high-impact hypotheses better and run them on the real traffic. Or we can use these approaches when live testing is not feasible. Cyber Week, Black Friday, are certain locations or certain types of products that you just can't run experiments on.
