The Problem

Parents waste hundreds on bottles and cups their babies reject during the critical 6-18 month transition period. Generic advice fails because each baby's latch, flow preference, and sleep associations are unique, leaving parents overwhelmed with product choices and inconsistent progress.

Sippy cup or straw cup?

And what are the best starter ones? My baby is 8 months and can bring her bottle to her mouth but she doesn’t understanding she has to tip it back, I even got the silicone spout nipple things but she just chews on it lol they are the mam ones. I just don’t know what cup to get that would be easy for her to use and help her learn

Bottle weaning

Hi all! Hope this is the right place to ask this but my 2 year old finally got medical clearance to drop her night time bottle and use straw cups or open cup to drink milk at night/ before bed time. The only reason she’s been on the bottle this long is because she’s been gaining weight super slowly and her medical team wanted her to still get nutrients overnight. Anyways we’ve tried stopping cold turkey and she throws a tantrum in the middle of the night and we’ve tried the water in the bottle but she’ll finish it and wake up again for more and is fussy. I would really appreciate yalls guidance on what helped you wean your little ones off the bottles. Thank you in advance!

Dropping the bottle

Hi all! FTM to a 12 month old. We are currently in the process of transitioning her from formula to whole milk. She is a severe CMPA case, so this is our second attempt after a failure with normal whole milk. We are weaning her off the formula by doing half Ripple milk half formula bottles to see how she tolerates it. Eventually, the hope is she will take a full bottle of just milk alone. My question is - once that happens, do we also drop the bottle and go to sippy cups/straw cups and just offer milk with every meal? Or how does that work exactly? Looking for input on how others handled the transition / feedback on how their babies handled it 🙂
