Find a business idea backed by real demand.

"Innovation opportunities and the innovation folks, you need to be teaching them about building maintainable systems in the long run. And you want that to be a cross-functional skill. So, oh, I'm a developer. Okay, that's a cross-functional skill. And most people will look at that and say, okay, that's, you're a developer, a quote developer. But I, as a product manager will look at that and say, no, no, no, no. You're a, you're a optimization developer, you're an innovation developer. If you're a developer, can I pick you up and have you join my team? Where every other week, the broad priorities are changing completely, 180 degrees, completely different from what we were doing the week before."

"Yeah, it's like really like learning a whole new skill. Whereas I think people think, oh, I can just record this and put it somewhere in video and it will be, it will like do the same thing as all these massive shows with video and it's not the same thing. Not necessarily the same thing. Not the same thing. What I think is so cool about podcasting for creators is that it is actually quite a low barrier of entry. And I don't think that's a really common belief, but it can be as simple or as complicated as you want it to be. You can record in your pajamas. You can record on your phone. You can rent a studio. You can do just uploading audio. I wouldn't, however, recommend starting with video just because it's one more element you want to get right or like make perfect."
