SaaS founders launching affiliate programs struggle to find their first quality affiliates and don't know where to submit or promote their programs effectively. They waste time spraying links across random channels, getting low-quality signups instead of affiliates who actually drive revenue. Existing affiliate management tools handle tracking and payouts but do nothing to help with the hardest part: affiliate discovery and recruitment.

I just launched an affiliate program for Remind Me. Now I want to find people who'd promote it and earn a commission. What actually worked for you when finding your first affiliates? I'm thinking: Reaching out to Telegram channel owners in the productivity/tools niche Posting in relevant communities IndieHackers or Product Hunt But I'm not sure which channel gives the best return for the time spent. Is cold outreach worth it at this stage or should I focus on inbound first? Any advice from people who've done this would be appreciated.

I’m building Brandiseer an On-Brand Visual Designer app that *learns your brand* and generates consistent visuals (ads, posts, packaging, etc.) automatically. Think of it as your AI creative partner that designs *as your brand*, not just for it. We’ve got early traction (100+ active users so far) and now I’m looking to **introduce an affiliate program** to scale faster, but I’m not sure how to *actually* get affiliates excited and onboard. Here’s what I’m trying to figure out: * How do you spread the word about a new affiliate offer when you don’t have a big audience yet? * Are there trusted **affiliate communities, subreddits, or platforms** where founders can post new offers (without getting flagged as spam)? * What works better early on — open signups, or hand-picking creators and marketers manually? * How do you keep affiliates motivated if the commissions are SaaS-based (recurring but slower ramp-up)? If anyone here has experience launching or scaling affiliate programs for SaaS or creative tools, I’d love to hear what worked, and what didn’t. Appreciate any feedback, playbooks, or pointers 🙏
