Home buyers, leaseholders, executors, and property owners often face opaque legal and banking processes where solicitors, sellers, banks, or boards delay responses and provide ambiguous updates. Users struggle to know which documents are actually required, who is blocking progress, and whether delays or costs are normal.
A SaaS platform that creates a transaction timeline, document checklist, responsibility map, and automated chase workflow for conveyancing, mortgage discharge, leasehold variations, probate sales, and property dispute costs. Users can upload letters, emails, bank statements, and legal requests, then receive structured status summaries, missing-item alerts, and prewritten escalation messages for solicitors, banks, sellers, managing agents, or condo boards.
Property transactions are becoming more document-heavy due to AML checks, leasehold reform uncertainty, mortgage redemption requirements, and rising service-charge disputes. Buyers increasingly expect real-time visibility instead of relying on slow email chains with legal providers.
Almost 3 weeks of back and forth of providing evidence for source of funds. So far I have provided - Multiple bank statements, final statement for sale of my grandma's house, my grandmas will, my grant of Probate, a statement for the account I set up as executor of my grandma's estate, the colour of my girlfriends knickers and her cup size... I thought applying for the mortgage would be the hard part. I got approved by Halifax within 48 hours, but this proof of funds thing has been so stressful. Don't really know what else I can provide now as I've sent them absolutely everything I wouldn't mind but its not a huge amount of money, £40k. So if I was a money launderer. I'm not a very good one ! Is it normal to have this sort of thing ?
Can anyone recommend a reliable conveyancing solicitor for a house purchase in Greenhithe/Kent? I’m currently buying a property and would love to hear about any good experiences you’ve had—especially with firms that are communicative and don’t drag things out. Also happy to hear about any solicitors you’d suggest avoiding! Thanks 😊
