Game asset creators waste hours manually listing assets on multiple platforms with different formatting and metadata requirements. They struggle with poor discoverability, lack market intelligence on pricing, and don't know how to effectively promote without violating platform rules, resulting in low sales and wasted effort.

Not really survive, my problem is time to work in my game. I left my job this year and have money to have a VERY modest life next year while work in my game. Next year I have a decision to make, live with my emergency money ultil I can launch my game, find another job and develop in the free time or find some way to make money from home, I can make 2D pixel art and sell on the internet, but can I really get money from that or it is a bad Idea?
Title. We were making this 2D digging game as side project ~10 years ago. I think the assets looked really good, but we scrapped the project because the gameplay was not very fun. However we never used these assets for anything, so I'm thinking that it would be waste to let these sprites rot on my computer. I have never released anything on unitystore or gamedevmarket. So I don't know much time and effort it would take to put them on sale, or if you can expect any kind of reasonable income. The assets are high quality hand drawn art that could be used for 2D platformers. We also have animated enemies etc that people could use as generic enemies. Would love to hear someones opinion who has experiance on the matter. (Pitty I'm not able to post the pictures here)
I am selling some pixel art assets i made on itch and gumroad, idk how to reach the game devs who might be interested or what subs allow self promotion where i can reach out to devs to buy it
