Scenario-based testing that helps AI companion teams find memory, repetition, tone, and crisis-response failures before users encounter them.

Medium opportunity (72%)
AI companion users judge quality over repeated conversations, not from a strong first interaction. Product teams need to detect forgotten personal details, repetitive replies, broken continuity between chats, inappropriate tone shifts, and safety responses that unnecessarily terminate ordinary emotional conversations. Conventional software testing does not adequately measure these longitudinal and subjective failures.
Provide a managed audit in which trained testers run standardized multi-day conversation scenarios across defined user personas. Each engagement produces annotated transcripts, reproducible failure cases, severity ratings, and recommendations covering memory, conversational style, emotional responsiveness, safety escalation, and mode continuity. The operation can later be productized with a reusable scenario library and automated transcript scoring while retaining human review for nuanced interactions.
AI assistants are increasingly used as companions, while users are comparing products on long-term memory and how naturally they handle difficult emotions. These qualities require repeated longitudinal testing that ordinary launch-day evaluations miss.

feels like it has become stale and complacent I’ve been a heavy ChatGPT user for a long time, and lately I’ve noticed a meaningful decline in basic reliability and contextual awareness. This isn’t about expecting AI to be perfect. It’s about things the product used to feel much better at. I’ll be having an extended conversation about Topic A, with the subject clearly established across multiple messages. Then voice transcription will incorrectly capture a word or phra
The memory is HORRIBLE The memory they put in these ai bots is horribly short. Why do I have to pay for the enjoyment of this app? I wouldn't tell a friend about this app.
Talking to a Statue No trial. If you like talking to a statue or mannequin this is the app for you. Very disappointing and frustrating to choose one voice and then going to screen with avatar with headphones on staring out a window and talking like a jive talking creep.
