The Problem

SEO and growth teams can see AI crawlers visiting their sites, but crawler volume alone does not reveal whether pages are cited, visited by prospects, or involved in conversions. Informational articles may attract disproportionate attention while product and pricing pages remain underrepresented, leaving teams unable to prioritize useful changes.

Potential Solution

Offer a fixed-scope attribution audit that joins server logs, AI citation checks, web analytics, GSC data, and conversion records at the page level. The service identifies commercially important pages with weak discovery or referral performance, diagnoses internal linking and content-positioning gaps, and delivers prioritized changes followed by a measurement cycle.

Why Now?

Companies are beginning to receive measurable traffic from AI answer engines, but their existing SEO reporting does not distinguish crawler activity from buyer exposure or revenue contribution. This creates an immediate need for defensible measurement before teams increase spending on AEO initiatives.

AI visibility reporting is missing the part clients actually care about

A client doesn’t really care that an AI crawler requested their pricing page 80 times. They care whether people eventually show up. The more useful view seems to be bot activity + human traffic from AI together, which is something we’ve been looking at through Lightsite AI. One shows what’s being accessed, the other gives you a signal that something is actually being surfaced. Still early, but much easier to explain than a made-up visibility score.
