Generate legally-grounded dispute letters, manage evidence, and track your CIFAS marker removal case from start to finish.

UK consumers wrongfully hit with CIFAS fraud markers face bank account closures, financial exclusion, and a Kafkaesque removal process. They spend countless hours navigating opaque bank procedures, generating ineffective dispute letters, and managing scattered evidence, often receiving minimal compensation (£200) for life-altering consequences. The system is designed for institutions, leaving individuals powerless.
A SaaS? platform that automates the entire CIFAS dispute workflow: intelligently generates personalized appeal letters based on case type (scam victim, broker fraud, identity theft), manages document evidence with bank-grade security, tracks response deadlines across multiple institutions, and provides real-time status updates. Integrates with CIFAS and bank APIs? where available, and offers optional human caseworker escalation.
Open banking regulations and rising consumer rights awareness are creating pressure for financial transparency. CIFAS markers hit record highs (390,000+ in 2022), while banks face growing scrutiny over wrongful closures. AI document generation and API? connectivity now make automated dispute management technically feasible and cost-effective.

Hi all, Looking for some advice / opinions on my situation. I recently had some unauthorised betting transactions on my bank account. I reported it straight away and the bank refunded me fully, saying they agreed it was fraud. However, shortly after that, they told me they’re closing all my accounts across their group (Halifax/Lloyds etc). They didn’t give a detailed reason, just said it was a decision from their fraud prevention team. I still have another bank account open elsewhere (no issues so far), and there’s no money stuck in the closed account. My main concern is: Do you think I’m likely to get a CIFAS marker for this? I didn’t share my details knowingly and reported everything as soon as I noticed it. The refund makes me think they believed me, but the full closure is worrying. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Did it lead to a CIFAS marker or was it just a risk-based closure? Appreciate any insight 🙏
So in September 2023 I got a cat 6 cifas marker. We had a really dodgy broker and basically he lied on our application. He was recommended by our accountant so we trusted him blindly. Anyway, after doing a SAR it says altered documents. I've managed to retain my bank accounts so far. I have 9 years left on my mortgage. I pay my life insurance, house insurance and car insurances annually, tbf I always have done. I don't use credit cards and have very small I overdrafts that I don't use. I've not applied for anything that will trigger a credit check. But I'm assuming that this will eventually catch up to me and I should expect to have my bank accounts closed with existing banks? I'm not sure how I've managed to stay under the radar, but I bank with high street banks not online. Main bank being Halifax.
