EDIT: I will be calling the vet tomorrow to schedule an appointment!! Thank you to everyone who helped me I just noticed this today, but my cat's eyes were red, and extra watery than usual. She normally gets eye-boogers almost everyday, and I clean them out, though yesterday or 2 days ago, I believe, her eye-boogers in the same eye were more slimy and sticky unlike the typical solid ones. I'm not sure when her eye became like this, but I just noticed it a couple of hours ago. She doesn't seem to be in pain, but she seems to be in discomfort because sometimes, that same eye will be more half-lidded than the other. This isn't occurring in my other cat, no other symptoms have come to light, and I'm thinking about taking her to the vet. Is it irritated? Infected? Help would be appreciated!

What’s happening with my cat’s eye?

It’s only started today however my cat keeps squinting his eye now and again and I noticed he’s got a sudden bald eyelid? When he sees his food both eyes open normally as if he wasn’t squinting. It’s like he’s picking and choosing when to squint🤣 just wondering if anyone else has had this happen and what it could be? He is up to date on all his vaccinations and flea and work treatment and is an indoor/ outdoor kitty. He is well in himself purring, sleeping, playing there’s been no change of behaviour other than this random eye squinting and baldness.
