The Problem

People regularly face high-stakes forms where a small formatting or eligibility mistake can cause rejection, delays, penalties, or lost credits. They struggle to know whether names, entity details, tax IDs, titles, checkboxes, and required attachments match the exact expectations of agencies, lenders, airlines, or tax systems.

Potential Solution

A web app that guides users through specific filing scenarios, checks entries against official rules and format requirements, and flags likely rejection risks before submission. Users upload or enter form data, receive field-by-field validation, plain-English correction prompts, and a submission-ready checklist with required evidence.

Why Now?

More consumer and small-business transactions now require self-service compliance across fragmented portals, PDF forms, and agency workflows. AI document parsing and rule-based validation make it practical to offer affordable pre-submission checks without replacing licensed professionals.

first time issuing 1099s and i'm worried i'm going to mess it up - how do you verify the info before filing

Sole prop here, hired 3 contractors last year. Never had to file 1099s before. Got W-9s from all of them but now i'm staring at the forms and realizing i have no idea if what they wrote is actually correct. Like one of them put their LLC name on line 1 but i don't know if the IRS has them registered as the LLC or as the individual. Other one is a corporation but their EIN doesn't match the format i thought EINs use. If i just file these and the IRS rejects them what happens. Do i get hit with penalties on top of having to fix it. And is there a way to check the name and TIN combos match IRS records before i submit, or do you just file and hope for the best. Any first time filers been through this and survived
