Strict social-app blocking with controlled emergency access that never requires weakening device protection.

High opportunity (76%)
People trying to curb compulsive Instagram and other distracting-app use need restrictions stronger than built-in screen-time controls. Existing blockers can fail after operating-system changes, mishandle paid entitlements, or trap users behind slow emergency-unlock procedures. This makes strict blocking either ineffective or unsafe.
Build an Android-first blocker with tamper-resistant schedules, clearly defined premium entitlements, and a tested emergency-access ladder. Emergency options could include a delayed self-unlock, a trusted-contact approval, and immediate access to designated essential apps. Compatibility testing and published status updates would ensure users are never advised to disable device security.
Stronger Android security features are disrupting existing blocking methods while users continue seeking restrictions they cannot impulsively bypass. Competitor maintenance and emergency-access failures create room for a reliability-focused alternative.

I recommend this app every time someone brings up struggling with too much screen time! Being able to set limits by hour instead of by day has been a game changer.
Great app for blocking social media and distractions I really recommend. The only thing that made me give it a 4 instead of 5 was the fact that you need a subscription for some special cool features but the rest is amazing.
Doesn’t Work How it Should! All you have to do is disable screen time access either through screen time or the app setting. I had someone else put in a screen time code and was still able to turn off access without there code. This needs to be fixed. Brick does not allow this loop to happen
