Live, crowdsourced TSA and security wait times for every airport terminal so you never miss a flight.

Travelers face enormous uncertainty about airport security wait times, especially during staffing disruptions, government shutdowns, and peak travel periods. They frequently turn to forums asking strangers about current conditions at specific airports, whether layover times are sufficient, and whether they need to clear security again on connecting flights — all information that should be available in real time but isn't consolidated anywhere reliable.
A mobile app and web dashboard that aggregates real-time security wait times from crowdsourced traveler check-ins, official FAA/TSA data feeds, and historical patterns. It provides airport-specific terminal maps showing which security checkpoints are fastest, alerts users when wait times spike, and includes a layover feasibility calculator that factors in whether re-screening is required for specific connection types (domestic-to-international, inter-terminal, etc.).
TSA staffing instability, government shutdowns, and increased international travel disruptions have made airport security wait times wildly unpredictable. Travelers are desperate for real-time information, as evidenced by surging forum posts asking basic questions about current conditions at specific airports.

BoardingMaybe shows the real on-time rate, average delay, cancellation rate and best time to fly for any route — from 26M+ real flights across official government and airport data. Free, no login. Know before you book.. Product Hunt launch with 3 votes and 3 comments.
Hey PH 👋 I built this because "is this flight actually usually late?" is weirdly hard to answer before you book. Airlines don't advertise it, and the real data is scattered across a dozen government and airport sources that all format things differently. So I pulled ~26M flights from 11 first-party sources and turned them into a simple per-route answer: on-time rate, average delay, cancellation rate, best time of day to fly, and an airline-by-airline breakdown. A fun thing I found in the data: weather is directly blamed for only ~6% of US delays. The real villain is the cascade; one plane running late in the morning ripples through the whole day. It's free, no login. Would love feedback on what other cuts of the data would actually be useful to you.
I have an 8 month old and will need to take a 2 hour flight. One option will require waking him up around 5am and hope he can fall back asleep on the way to the airport or do a 1pm flight. The only reason we are considering the 7:30am flight is because we have a family gathering the evening we land and figure we will have more time to rescue a nap or two after we land! Let me know your thoughts and experiences please!
I’m doing my first international, long-haul flight in a few days, and it’s for a short trip. Really nervous about jet lag, sleep, what to do on the plane etc. I leave Los Angeles on Saturday, 4/25 at 2:30pm PST, and arrive in Paris on Sunday 4/26 at 10:45am local time. I depart Paris on Wednesday, 4/29 at 9:15am and arrive at 11:40am PST back home. I wouldn’t have done such a short trip for my first time but it’s my grandma’s last trip out of the country and my first, so I wanted to join her. She’s flown internationally more times than I can count and she doesn’t need much sleep, so she’s not concerned. She says to just take a short nap when I get to Paris and I’ll be fine. I’m excited to see Paris and I know it’ll be fun, but I am having a LOT of anxiety about: Being jet lagged throughout the trip and being destroyed when I get back home. I don’t want to feel out of it for days but I can see myself having that experience. Do I even try to adjust to local time in Paris for such a short trip? Being on a plane for so long. Like I can’t even conceptualize having to be on a plane for almost 12 hours. What do I even do? Sleep? Stay up? When do go back to work. I called out Thursday 4/30 to be safe, do I need to do Friday 5/1 as well? Can anyone help me out here?
We have a 7 hour layover at Frankfurt airport, arriving 1:15pm, will arrive at terminal 1, and leaving to Barcelona. We do have these lounge options but as there are 3 hour limits. \- LuxxLounge Terminal 1, Between Concourse B/C \- Air France Lounge Terminal 2, Concourse D Level 2, Hall D, after Schengen Security Control, opposite Gate D26. \- Priority Lounge Terminal 2, Concourse E, Level 3, near Gates E6-E9. We want to lounge hop, but am concerned about needing to get out and back into security if changing terminals? Any recommendations?
Hi, I’m a US citizen transferring through LAX with a five-hour layover in two months. I’ll be arriving at around 4:50 PM and would love to grab a quick bite at In-N-Out and head over to Venice Beach to watch the sunset before my next flight. Is this doable, factoring the LA traffic and TSA lines?
