The Problem

Consumers are being hit with unexpected loan disbursements, service charges, bank fees, insurance premiums, fines, and post-sale document requests that they do not understand or may not have agreed to. Many users struggle to interpret dense legal or financial documents, especially across languages, and do not know what evidence to collect or how to challenge the charge.

Potential Solution

A web and mobile app lets users upload contracts, loan documents, bills of sale, bank messages, and receipts, then flags whether a charge or signature request appears supported by the documents. It generates a plain-language issue summary, missing-evidence checklist, dispute letter, and regulator or company escalation path tailored to the transaction type and jurisdiction.

Why Now?

Digital lending, online banking, property rentals, and vehicle financing have increased the volume of opaque consumer contracts and surprise fees. AI document extraction now makes it practical to give consumers fast, low-cost contract and charge validation before disputes damage credit scores or finances.

Dealership requesting additional signatures
Jun 6, 2026

I financed a used vehicle this past Sunday at a dealership. I have since registered and insured it. With the pink copy of the bill of sale I was given. The registry asked for a clearer copy and I had the finance guy email them a copy they could read. Tonight, I received a call from the finance office stating I needed to "sign some documents he had me initial instead." Already fishy as I don't remember initialing where it clearly asked for a signature... I looked over the documents and realized the income on the new credit application was way off. Looking through the finance companies credit app, It has my monthly employment income at $10,000 and rental income listed at $11,100. My wife's income is listed at $940/month and $1,190 "other income" I called the finance department and he said he's never seen that before. They originally told me income was waived. I called the finance company I was "Approved" through and they said the loan isn't funded due to deficiencies... Now, the finance guy called back and stated that the income listed under rental income was a "total" of the two (employment and rental) incomes combined. But won't show me the original vehicle purchase credit application. He is asking us to sign the documents and he will then show us the income corrected... Do I back out of this? The finance company is going to call me back tomorrow.

Should I change banks )7 years post bankruptcy)?
Jun 6, 2026

I went through bankruptcy October 2019 and was discharged September 2020. I stayed with RBC all this time, kept paying for my car loan (they let me keep my car since it was financed), got a secured Capital One and rebuilt my credit from 415 back to 720. Since filing I have not missed one payment on anything and do not carry any debt besides my car payment. I have a capital one cc with 5000 which I pay off in full every month. a year ago I tried applying for a secured cc for my business, was denied, overdraft of 500$ was denied, and when I was buying my car, RBC was the only lender who refused to finance me. It is a hassle to change banks, but if someone can tell me from experience does it make a difference if I go to a different bank? I was only with TD and only owed money to them. I am having a hard time even getting my interac transfers to be raised (always 1000$). When I ask why they tell me it is because I owe them money, and list all the balances I had before bankruptcy with them. I have a feeling that even when my bankruptcy goes off the record, they will still keep an internal record and never again approve me for anything (which I understand). I think I was under the wrong impression that once my credit is rebuilt I would be ok to continue banking with them. Does anyone share a similar experience or has any insight in how banks normally approach these situations? There is a substantial amount of money that I would have to move from both my business and personal account so am reluctant, but was already told at TD that they would approve me for both personal and business CC, so I would not have to depend on my capital one anymore for both purposes (my accountant especially doesn't like to go through that every tax season). Thank you in advance TLDR: should I go to a bank I never owed any money to after filing bankruptcy if my original bank refuses every service I apply for even after 7 years
