The Problem

E-commerce and SaaS founders know their pages underperform but struggle to identify which specific elements — headlines, CTAs, layout, social proof placement, checkout flow — are actually hurting conversions. They waste time on gut-feel redesigns or generic best-practice checklists instead of targeted, high-impact changes. Running proper A/B tests requires significant expertise and time to set up, monitor, and interpret.

Potential Solution

A tool that crawls any landing page or product page, scores it across proven conversion factors (messaging clarity, CTA placement, social proof positioning, cognitive load, page speed, trust signals), and outputs a prioritized list of specific changes to test. It integrates lightweight A/B testing so users can deploy recommended variants in one click and tracks statistical significance automatically, telling them exactly when a winner emerges.

Why Now?

The explosion of e-commerce and SaaS launches has created millions of underoptimized pages, while AI vision and language models now make it possible to programmatically assess page quality, generate copy variants, and suggest layout changes — capabilities that previously required expensive CRO consultants.

Your SaaS doesn’t have a conversion problem. It has a "why should I give a shit" problem
r/SaaSJul 21, 2026

A couple of weeks ago, a buddy of mine introduced me to his B2B SaaS. He has a nice product, has real customers who are willing to pay him money for it and his home page is converting visitors into leads at 1.1% conversion. His plan to fix it was a heatmap tool, a landing page builder  and an A/B testing subscription that costs more than the product makes in a month. He had a Notion doc with 14 experiments planned and button colors were on the list. I wish I was joking. And look I get why. CRO... conversion rate optimization is basically the art of tweaking your website so more visitors turn into signups…. feels like real work. You’re watching session recordings at 1am like a detective, moving buttons around, running "tests" and the dashboards make you feel scientific. I’ll be straight with you tho, I did the exact same thing on my first product. I tested "start free trial" against "get started free" like the future of the company depended on it  and we had maybe 40 visitors a day. Nothing moved because there was nothing to move. I was optimizing the door of a shop nobody walks past. Somewhere around then it clicked that all this optimizing rests on one hidden assumption. It assumes the visitor already wants the thing and just needs friction removed. This will be true for Amazon and true for DoorDash at 2am. However, for most small SaaS products the visitor lands, looks for about 4 secs and leaves with one unanswered question in their head. “Why should I care?” So now before I touch analytics on any product I run through 5 questions. I call it the WHY SHOULD I CARE framework because thats literally all it is. No tools needed, just coffee and honesty. Ques 1. No one knows who its for There’s an old marketing example that broke my brain when I first heard it. A generic time management course sells for like 19 bucks, rename the exact same course "Time Management for Sales P...
