The Problem

People with multiple debts across credit cards, personal loans, medical bills, and student loans struggle to determine the best consolidation strategy. They waste time comparing loan options, miss promotional rate expirations, and overpay in interest because they lack the tools to model payoff scenarios across their full debt portfolio.

Potential Solution

Users input their debts, income, and credit profile to receive an AI-generated consolidation strategy that compares real loan offers, models payoff timelines, and recommends the optimal approach (balance transfers, consolidation loans, or snowball/avalanche methods). The platform integrates with lenders to surface pre-qualified offers and tracks progress toward debt freedom with automated payment scheduling.

Why Now?

Consumer debt has reached record highs in 2025-2026, with rising interest rates making consolidation decisions more complex and consequential. Open banking APIs and AI now make it possible to aggregate financial data and generate personalized strategies that previously required expensive financial advisors.

Financial question, should I take a small loan of 5,000 to pay off a debt of 4,500$ from three different credit cards
r/personalfinanceApr 1, 2026

I have a debt of 4503 different credit cards divided if I make $700 every two weeks but 80% of it goes to rent or car payment and insurance should I take out a small loan of $5000 to pay off my debt and slowly pay off the loan and not use my credit cards during that time?

Any advise on how and where to get a personal loan for debt consolidation?
Apr 1, 2026

2025 was a very expensive year for me and 2026 feels like Im one inconvenience away from complete ruin. I have about $10,000 in vet medical debt for a pet that didnt survive. ive been paying close to $600 a month but the promotional periods are going to expire before I pay it back which will make everything a lot worse. on top of this i have some medical bills ive been paying $140 a month for (i still owe about 2,000) . Ive been able to keep up with everything but it would easier to just combine everything. Would debt consolidation be a smart way to go? Can anyone give me advise on where I can go to get a loan for about $12,000-$15,000? ive tried to googling this but it all seems sketchy and Im struggling to find an honest opinion on lending companies.

How should I manage my debt?
Apr 1, 2026

For starters I should say, I can afford every payment I have coming out but ideally I want to make one payment instead of several so I can pay more to the principal and less in interest. This is just where I’m at and I want to clean things up if I’m able. Assets: House owner of 1.5 years $350k mortgage - $10k of the principal is paid. Boat/ side by side/ travel trailer (all second hand and paid in full) $25k Vehicle - paid off. Worth $10-$15k Debt (other than the balance of my mortgage): Credit cards $5500 - 14% interest Renovations loan $19k - 19% interest 🥹 Personal loan $15k (my husband and I were young and dumb with our credit when we first met and are still paying for it here!) - 14% interest \*aprox $40k total\* Do I see if the bank will consolidate? (banks quoting me a 9% interest rate right now) OR Do I apply for a line of credit and essentially consolidate myself, also being quoted at or around 9% interest right now. \*\*I do not want to use our home equity at this point in time, we plan to sell in the next 2 years and I don’t want to jeopardize us being able to do that What are the pros and cons to each? I did have an appointment with our bank but our rep had to write down all of our questions, said she’d get back to us & never did. Just hoping for some financey people to share their opinion and advice before I go back. My spouse and I make decent money and we are managing our debt fine right now but the interest I’m paying monthly kills me inside and I just think we could be paying less and saving more. In a perfect world I win the lottery and pay everything off cash in hand, but it could be a while before that happens!🤣 🤞🏻

Over 100k in deposits/investments. Where to go?
Apr 1, 2026

I have over 100k between my chequing and TFSA accounts spread between several financial institutions. I am looking to do some consolidation and was wondering if any financial institution offered perks for having over 100k with them which I know is not a lot but I am looking to maximize the benefit of the consolidation if possible. Thanks.
