The Problem

Retail traders repeatedly destroy their accounts through revenge trading, oversizing after losses, and emotional decision-making despite knowing better. They lose tens of thousands chasing small losses, blow funded prop accounts days before payout, and lack any external mechanism to physically prevent themselves from making impulsive trades during emotional states.

Potential Solution

A platform that connects to brokers and prop firm accounts via API to enforce hard rules: automatic trading lockouts after consecutive losses, daily loss limits, mandatory cooldown periods between trades, and position size caps based on account state. Includes biometric/emotional state checks, real-time intervention prompts, and a 'circuit breaker' that requires verified cool-down before re-enabling access.

Why Now?

Prop firm trading exploded in 2024-2025 with millions of retail traders chasing funded accounts, while broker APIs are now widely accessible and behavioral finance tooling has become mainstream in fintech.

I don’t think trading is for me
May 5, 2026

I’m genuinely at my whits end. I restarted learning how to trade a couple months ago, after quitting a few years ago. My partner and I began trading together & it has not been going well. I just don’t know what to do anymore. I feel like no matter how many videos I watch, how many notes I take, how many different strategies I try it just doesn’t seem to click for me. I’ve spent so much money and in this economy I really can’t afford it. I’ve only been funded once and can’t seem to do it again. I’m just not sure what to do anymore. Strategies I’ve tried thus far: ICC ICT 15 min ORB CRT I can’t seem to perfect any of them, no matter how much paper trading I do. Do I just say this isn’t for me and cut my losses or do I keep trying more strategies until I find one that works for me?

2.5 lakh loss in three weeks. need some real advice before i do something stupid.
May 5, 2026

been trading options for about 9 months now. started with small capital. made some profits. felt like i finally understood the market.last three weeks changed everything.i lost 2.5 lakh rupees. not from one bad trade. from a series of dumb decisions. one loss led to revenge. revenge led to bigger size. bigger size led to more losses. you know the cycle lol. now im sitting here looking at my portfolio and feeling sick. this wasnt spare money, some of it was from savings i shouldnt have touched. i cant focus at work and cant sleep properly. just keep checking charts at 2am thinking what if i try to make it back.i know what went wrong. overtrading, no stop loss, trading during news- all the classic mistakes. but knowing and doing are two different things. question for people who have recovered from big losses. how did you stop yourself from trying to win it all back ? did you take a complete break from charts? size down to zero? or just keep trading small until confidence came back?also how do you deal with the mental part? i feel like a complete failure and every time i see the market move i want to jump back in even though i know i shouldnt.honest answers only please. Thanks you guys very much

Make 50% then blow then repeat
May 5, 2026

Ever since I blew 5 x 50k prop accounts $400 and 1 day away from being able to take out max payouts, I've been repeating making 50% in one day then blowing the next day. Can anyone who's been in my shoes and successfully got out of this pattern help.

Revenge trading
May 5, 2026

Posted a little while ago about revenge trading and thought I taught myself a lesson after blowing a big chunk of my live account trying to recover a loss. Well once again, lucky me, I did the same exact thing I wanted to avoid. One question I have for you guys is do you think a funded account would be a better option for me as I wouldn’t be risking my own capital?
