Traders know journaling is critical for improvement, but most can't stick with it consistently—especially during losing streaks. Manual logging in spreadsheets is tedious, existing tools lack intelligence, and generic AI assistants like ChatGPT don't retain history or track patterns over time.
An automated trade journaling tool that syncs with broker accounts to capture trades, then layers on AI-driven pattern recognition—surfacing insights like which sessions, pairs, and setups are most profitable. Traders can add context (emotions, reasoning, mistakes) via quick prompts, and the AI remembers everything to deliver personalized weekly reviews and pre-trade checklists based on historical performance.
The retail trading population continues to grow rapidly, and recent advances in LLMs? make it feasible to build a journaling tool that actually understands trading context, remembers past entries, and generates actionable insights—something traders have been trying to hack together with ChatGPT and spreadsheets.

Journaling does help. If you can pull the data from your broker for all your trades, you can build a dashboard on Excel, Google Sheet or an offline HTML. Just asked AI to create the dashboard for you from the data you able to pull out from the broker. A CSV file is better since it has structure to it. I built a Google Sheet dashboard then decide to create an offline HTML Dashboard with the help of AI. I was able to pull the trades data from the MT5 script.
The app connects to Webull API as well as alpaca to capture paper trades, then it allows me to manually rate them with a bunch of relevant fields that indicate the type of trade strategy entry and exit logic and to just give it an overall quality rating. It then uses an LLM to review the structured data as well as screenshot images to provide a narrative on the progress or lack there of that I’m making in trading techniques. My hope is eventually to have enough trades logged that I can extend the AI to actually make forward looking recommendations based on the chart context. I sort of assume that I’m reinventing the wheel, but I’d rather build something with cursor that does exactly what I want then spend a bunch of subscription fee fees to get sort of what I want!
After spending months building this, I'm finally opening it up for other traders to use. One thing always bothered me about most trading journals. They tell you **how much money you made.** They rarely tell you **why you made it.** Questions like... * Why do I perform better on Tuesdays than Fridays? * Which strategy actually has positive expectancy? * Am I better during the London session or New York session? * Which mistakes keep repeating every month? * Which tagged setups genuinely have an edge? Those are the questions I wanted answered. So I built **Traderizz** — an R-multiple trading journal focused on helping traders analyze their decision-making instead of just tracking P&L. Here's what you can do: 📊 Analyze your trading with expectancy, win rate, payoff ratio, equity curve, drawdown, and R-multiple analytics. 📅 Break down performance by month, week, weekday, hour, strategy, and tags. 🎯 Create **unlimited strategies** and see which ones actually produce an edge. 📒 Create **unlimited journals** for Forex, Futures, Crypto, Stocks—or however you organize your trading. 🏷️ Create **unlimited tags** and uncover patterns you wouldn't normally notice. 📈 Track mistakes so recurring execution errors become obvious. 📝 Keep **unlimited trading notes** and a built-in trader diary for review. 💹 Add your own instruments and organize every trade cleanly. 🎙️ Ask **Edge**, the built-in voice assistant, questions about your trading analytics. The feature I probably use the most is stacking filters. For example, I can instantly answer questions like: > or > Instead of digging through hundreds of trades manually, I get the answer in seconds. 🚀 **During launch, every feature is completely free.** No subscriptions. No locked features. I'm doing this because I'd rather get honest feedback from real traders and improve the product before enabling paid plans. If you're an active trader, I'd genuinel...
