Individuals across different countries struggle to allocate their monthly surplus across the right mix of instruments — ETFs, mutual funds, fixed deposits, bonds, and international markets — while accounting for local tax rules, multiple financial goals (retirement, children's education, emergency funds), and appropriate risk levels. Most end up either paralyzed by choices, over-concentrated in a single market, or paying unnecessary taxes due to suboptimal fund placement.
A SaaS tool that ingests a user's financial profile — income, tax bracket, country, existing holdings, and goals with timelines — and outputs a concrete, actionable allocation plan across asset classes and specific instruments. The engine factors in local tax optimization (e.g., tax-advantaged account ordering, capital gains rules), geographic diversification guidance, and rebalancing schedules, updating recommendations as markets or tax laws change.
Growing global retail investor participation post-2020, increasing cross-border investment interest (e.g., US markets from India/Europe), and rising anxiety about geographic concentration in US equities are driving demand for personalized, tax-aware allocation tools that go beyond generic robo-advisors limited to a single country's products.
FZROX is a mutual fund and VTI is an ETF but which one is better and whats really the difference between an ETF and mutual fund? Im only 17 and started investing like 2 months ago and I just wanted to know which one is better for a youth taxable brokerage account? I don’t plan to change my brokerage with Fidelity but I am more worried about which one would grow more and capital gains taxes.
Looking for opinions here. I got money in a ROTH IRA. To keep it simple, I just invested in a target date fund, **FIDELITY FREEDOM INDEX 2045 INVESTOR** (FIOFX). I read that supposably these do well. As it's been about six months now, it just doesn't seem to me to do as well as some of my ETFs, etc. in my regular taxable account. Should I just stay the path and do these target funds start to pick up well much later? Or, are these funds overrated and I should just like do some type of aggressive growth ETF in it? I'm trying to be like you guys. Help me, be you.
Hey everyone. Just opened my Roth IRA with Fidelity. Looking to set a portion of my allocation to US market. I’m looking at FZROX or FSKAX. I’m 32 and looking for growth and dividends to grow tax free since I can’t touch this for 27 years. Does it matter which one I pick? I know FSKAX has a low expense ratio and FZROX at 0. FSKAX has 2 dividends per year, FZROX has 1. Is there a certain one I should pick? Maybe look at ITOT? Does it really matter if they all perform similarly? I appreciate any advice as I’m new to this!
100k in a rollover ira and going to slowly convert to roth ira to avoid rmds. Pension and ss are more than enough for me to live off of and I'm not worried about bills or rent being raised. I will not need this for anything, it's strictly for max growth and to be passed on. I'd like to stay as tax efficient as possible. is the following good? any advice is appreciated 8k rolled into roth ira that'll go into fxaix 46k rollover ira into fdvv or schd or voo 46k rollover ira into ftec or schg
I have aph , voo , qqqm , smh, schg. I am thinking of changing up my portfolio to just voo , schg , smh , aph may be msft. May be vym also These are all long, ETF and single stocks. The single stock is the company I work for and I want to put some into Microsoft because that’s proven to be a good long-term ETF type single stock. I just wanna make it simple low fees good return no stress and I think that what I am changing it to will bring that I retire in 16 years so I got a ways to go but not many at the same time so I just wanna pump in the max every year I’m 49 and I want to retire at 65 or 67 at the complete latest. I would love to retire at 65. What are your thoughts on these that I have chosen?
