Optimize taxable portfolio sales, rebalancing, and broker transfers while minimizing capital gains surprises.

Investors with large taxable brokerage accounts struggle to rebalance concentrated positions or fund FIRE withdrawals without triggering avoidable taxes. Broker reports, cost basis transfers, family accounts, and trading tools often leave users unsure which lots to sell, whether gains are computed correctly, and how liquidation choices affect their tax bill.
A SaaS? tool connects to brokerage accounts, imports holdings and tax lots, validates cost basis across transfers, and models tax-aware sell/rebalance scenarios. It recommends specific lots to sell, harvest losses, diversify concentrated positions, and generate CPA?-ready reports for withdrawals, rebalancing, or broker migration.
More retail investors now hold highly appreciated individual stocks after recent market gains, while FIRE and self-directed brokerage usage continue to grow. Broker fragmentation and cross-account investing make tax-aware liquidation harder to manage manually.

Has anyone transferred stock from one Demat Account with one broker to a different Demat Account with another broker? Do they allow you transfer the purchase price & purchase date from earlier account to the new one? Did your capital gains reflect correctly in the CG report you got at the end of the year from the new broker? Did it reflect correctly in your AIS & AS26? Which broker did you transfer into?
Looking to hear how people learned how to manage withdrawing from taxable brokerage accounts for FIRE. Are there specific strategies you follow? did you outsource this to CPA/Advisor? if outsourced how did you pick who you picked? \---- ideal answer is from people with diverse portfolios that are selling off equities with high gains rather than index funds. My brokerage is 100% equities thank you so much in advance!
I know people rebalance their 401k But for the brokerage (esp important for earlier retirement) is it just not possible because it triggers capital gains?
I was using DAS Trader just for its Level 2 and its Time and Sales. The chart on it was not good and i have direct access through IBKR. So thats all i wanted it for. However, it is very expensive, especially since i only used L2 and T&S. Does anyone know good alternatives for L2 and T&S. Thats affordable and highly customizable.
