Build and scale internal security systems to enable Appian InfoSec to quickly adapt, monitor, and defend against modern attacker techniques. Analyze and investigate complex security-related data pulled from a wide range of security products, logging devices, and endpoint monitors.

You will be working to help expand SIEM capabilities by configuring detections and enhancing alerting. You will be working within SaaS applications and automation technologies to develop and document new processes, implement policy control and enforcement, and align with key business stake holders to drive security initiatives

You will join the Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) organization, which is central to improving security efficiency. SOAR solutions enable the structured, AI-assisted automation of the often manual investigation, analysis, and remediation actions that take place in a typical Security Operations Center (SOC). By leveraging generative AI and machine learning directly within our execution flows, we transform how analysts interact with security data. Our solutions empower analysts to intuitively build and optimize smart playbooks that integrate with the security and non-security systems, drastically improving response time, reducing analyst fatigue, and maximizing efficiency.
