Individuals face opaque government agencies and debt collectors with unexplained charges, multi-month processing delays, unreachable phone lines, and no centralized way to track payment obligations or generate legally proper responses. This creates stress, potential financial penalties, and wasted hours trying to get clarity on tax debts, student loans, and collection notices.
A SaaS platform that uses OCR to digitize all authority letters and emails, tracks case status across agencies in a unified dashboard, auto-generates legally-compliant dispute letters and payment plan proposals, monitors response deadlines, and provides templated escalation paths. Users simply upload correspondence and the tool manages the entire communication lifecycle.
Post-pandemic backlogs have crippled tax authorities (IRS still processing 2020 returns; HMRC paper delays exceed 6 months), while new AI capabilities enable accurate generation of complex tax/legal correspondence that previously required expensive accountants or solicitors, making automated resolution viable and timely.
Maybe about 4 or 5 years ago I tried to quit my contract at O2 before it ran out, I had to pay something like 140 quid. I couldn't pay it all at the time and the company was making it very hard to get out. They ended up putting the debt over to link financial. I've had to pay off some student loan stuff off via them before, due to some health reasons meaning I had to quit uni, so I knew what the company was. So because I didnt have 140 I opted to pay them 20 every month when I get paid. This has been going on for years now, I obviously don't owe them that much. I don't have any letters or emails, or anything from link financial now, I don't have any proof of what went on. I have no emails or anything from O2 about the debt. At the time when I realised they were still taking it out I didn't know what I could do. They gave me no customer reference number or anything, I guess I seriously thought the payments would just stop. I've thought about calling the bank and getting them to stop the payment, but I'm worried that they'll send me a letter, and I don't live where I used to. I can't afford to have this, and I highly doubt I'll ever get the money back. I don't know what to do, does anyone here know what I could do?
I was a Full time student in 2019 and have been a PAYE since 2021. They are saying I owe £880 ish which includes late payments. Can they just tell me to pay them from 2019 out of the blue and do I have to?
So I live and work in NI and 8-9 years ago I took out a student loan and maintenance grant of £2800, now with interest in 2025 it's somewhere around the same mark so the amount hasn't really reduced all too much. Since 2019 I have been repaying a DD of £5 per month and HMRC take money from my payslips also and have been from 2021, now currently I repay approx £80 from my payslips as well as my DD that I set up all 7 years ago. Recently I've been getting lots of harassing emails and letters from SLC saying I need to contact them about my repayment and set up a repayment plan. The last letter I received threatened to send my debt to a debt collector if I don't contact them. Surely they are just looking more money off me direct debit wise right? I don't want to contact them as I really see no need - they are being repayed so I'm unsure of what to do next?
Filed for an amended return on 6/24/25…it’s now December and it says my amended return has been accepted but not processed “due to a delay”. I know the standard is 16 weeks for amended returns, but we are reaching the 6 month mark.I’m trying to get in touch with a person so I can see what the hold up is. Does anyone have a phone number they recommend to get me to the right department? I’ve tried the main line (1040) but it boots me off and won’t give me many options.
