You also ***need*** to use a signal meter (built-in feature with many different tv's and external tuner devices), since just looking at the picture and noting the number of channels the scan picks up doesn't really tell you anything about how good your reception is: [reddit.com/.../_meter](reddit.com/.../centralized_collection_o...) You also might find the Additional Topics->Combining multiple antennas section in the 1st linked post helpful. If I were in that location and looking to get one or more new antennas, I would probably start with just trying an Antennas Direct ClearStream 4MAX, with its VHF element facing around the direction of the frequency channels 7/20/21/22/35, and see if you get lucky and it picks up everything well enough from the front and back. If you find that it's picking up all the UHF channels well enough, but not picking up VHF 7 well enough, you can remove the VHF element and get one of the VHF-HI focused antennas mentioned in the Additional Topics->VHF-HI focused antennas section in the 1st linked post and get the [store.antennasdirect.com/.../antennas-direct-uhf-vhf-...](store.antennasdirect.com/.../antennas-direct-uhf-vhf-...) combiner. Then connect the ClearStream (with its VHF element removed) to the combiner's UHF port and connect the VHF-HI focused antenna to the combiner's VHF port and point the VHF-HI focused antenna directly at the VHF 7 transmitter.

I've been running on 2 Unifi AP Lite's in my home since I built my first lab in 2020. I recently was able to upgrade to 1gig fiber, and even though it was obvious before hand they wouldn't be able to give me that kind of speed, with going back to school I'm beginning to feel it a little more. I've done a little bit of research into new AP's but I'm having a hard time making the decision as to what Unifi AP I should go with. I run a Tasmota smart home, so I know I need 2.4ghz. but if I really need to I'll just reuse my old ones and dedicate them solely for that. My question is what can I get that will be the best performance for my money but also be future proof enough to not have to upgrade for a while? Any advice on this would be appreciated!
