The Problem

New SaaS founders can build and launch products but often lack a practical path to their first 10 paying customers. They experiment with cold outreach, waitlists, community posts, and advertising without knowing which buyers to target, how many prospects to contact, or whether early interest will convert into recurring revenue.

Potential Solution

Offer a fixed-scope four-week sales sprint that identifies a narrow buyer segment, interviews prospects, builds a qualified account list, and runs personalized founder-led outreach. The service provider prepares messaging, manages outreach operations, coaches the founder through calls, and documents the objections, conversion results, and channel playbook. Early delivery should remain a managed service because customer discovery and message refinement require judgment and close founder participation.

Why Now?

Building software has become easier, increasing the number of products competing for limited buyer attention. Distribution and customer validation are therefore becoming the binding constraints for first-time and technical founders.

How did you get your first 10 users?
r/microsaasJul 24, 2026

I recently built a tool that might be pretty useful for some people, but it seems pretty hard getting users. The only thing I’ve been doing is discord cold outreach which made gave me one paying user (who I don’t think is gonna pay again) and 45 waitlist signups. So my question is how did you manage to get your first 10 users to use your Platform? Which methods did you use, and if it was easy.

SaaS founders: How did you get your first 10 paying customers? Be specific.
r/advancedentrepreneurJul 24, 2026

In 2026, building a SaaS is easier than ever. Every day I see new products launching, but most founders struggle with distribution. Some build without understanding their market, while others have a really good product but don't know how to reach customers. If you've built a SaaS and got your first 10 paying customers, how did you do it? Please be as specific as possible. Where did you find them? What was your GTM strategy? What channels worked? How many people did you reach out to? What would you do differently if you had to start again? I think this will help a lot of founders here who are building great products but don't know where to start when it comes to getting customers. One more question. Did you get customers before you started building by validating the idea or creating a waitlist? Or did you launch with one feature and then begin reaching out? I believe building and distribution should happen side by side, but I'd love to hear how you approached it.

How did you get your first 10 users without spamming communities?

Hi everyone. I'm aware that if I post something about my Shopify App/Website here it can be flagged as self-promotion, spam, etc. My genuine question is: do you have any suggestions for me? I'm also considering paying for Google to promote it, but I'm not quite sure. Every new saas face the challenge of onboarding the first users, and since this is my first one, I would trully appreciate if someone could gimme some guidelines. Best regards for all.
