A managed service that completes routine accounting work while turning local graduates into dependable intermediate accountants.
Added Jul 28, 2026
Australian employers report difficulty finding capable intermediate and senior accountants even though entry-level candidates are abundant. Offshoring and reduced graduate hiring have removed much of the supervised work through which accountants traditionally learned reconciliations, journals, prepayments, workpapers, and month-end procedures. Employers consequently face a choice between scarce experienced hires and inexperienced graduates who require substantial supervision.
Provide firms and finance teams with small pods of screened graduates working under an experienced Australian accounting supervisor. The pod completes a defined package of routine accounting work using the buyer's existing systems, while the supervisor reviews every deliverable, trains participants against competency milestones, and reports which graduates are ready for greater responsibility. Buyers can use the service for ongoing capacity and optionally hire proven pod members after an agreed placement period.
The simultaneous decline in local junior roles and shortage of experienced accountants creates an immediate capacity problem and a longer-term talent-pipeline problem. A supervised delivery model gives employers useful work now while rebuilding practical development pathways.

Don't think there's ever been a shortage of accountants in Aust. I've been here for 25+ years and hired multiple times over the years. Accounting tends to be something enjoyed by students from China and India and thats how they find a way to stay in Aust permanently, which always helps with filling roles.
If you're overseas there's definitely a shortage of everything in Australia, then you arrive and realise you've been duped.
There's a shortage of experienced accountants because firms keep offshoring their junior roles which would usually be filled by local grads. The whole system is fucked because these companies only care about lowering wage expenses and arent thinking about the long-term issue of not having any development pathway to train up the plethora of grads.
Entry level positions have disappeared so we can’t develop our skills. I went into bookkeeping for peanuts just to gain as many skills as I could while waiting for hopefully things to improve.
Im a senior in big 4 in Melbourne and I’m only on 77.6 plus super, no bonus 🤢
