You can call me delusional. But, I believe in the future, content that utilizes the news and the uniqueness from Brand point of view or person behind the brand would give huge impact since AI is hungry with authoritative writing and facts. This means, content that honoring journalism or written with journalistic approach would give more value. Interviews, internal issues, experimentations, updates, and executive notes would differ the brand from the crowd and obviously, AI.

On the contrary, I think content writers will be hired more in the near future. I started as a content writer in 2015, and SEO content writing then was dumb. Writing the same generic articles, adding a link, publishing, and it just worked. Now, with AI, everybody's posting a lot, had some visibility spikes, but the May update killed a lot of those websites. The future is in writing the realest stuff - about personal experiences, sharing relevant info from your perspective, doing research on a topic and publishing your findings. It will work if you have expertise in an area. I personally moved away from content writing in 2021 because it was boring and wanted to learn other stuff, so I got into link building, on-site SEO, etc. And now I'm getting back to content, although I'm the organic growth manager in my company now and am able to make decisions for my department. I don't know how's the job market right now but I do know that a lot of companies that went in on mass AI article production and publishing are scratching their heads, and the advice I see by some great SEO people is - hire proper human writers, educate them on your product, and let them do their magic.
