Private conversations with trained human listeners for people who need to vent or feel heard without entering therapy.
Added Aug 4, 2026
People experiencing loneliness, grief, depression, or anxiety often want human connection but do not feel safe confiding in family or friends. Anonymous community posts are unreliable: requests may receive no response, worsening feelings of rejection and isolation. The immediate job is not necessarily diagnosis or treatment, but finding a responsive person who will listen without judgment.
Offer scheduled or on-demand text and voice sessions with trained, supervised peer listeners who provide empathetic listening without presenting themselves as therapists. Begin as a manually operated service with listener matching, clear nonclinical boundaries, privacy controls, and crisis-escalation procedures. Revenue could come from individual session fees, memberships, or prepaid session bundles.
The signals show repeated reliance on anonymous online communities alongside frustration that community responses are unpredictable. A managed human service can provide dependable availability and accountability while preserving the anonymity users value.

I feel like you described me. I’ve always felt that way. Also if it makes you feel any better… I posted in a grief support sub after losing my dad last week and seriously struggling, over 500 people read my post and no one commented. I saw someone post about losing their pet fish and it had lots of replies
Literally story of my life. I’m too scared to put myself out there as I have these negative thoughts that my presence is annoying. And then I get sad when said people don’t try to talk to me. We really are our worst enemies
Ah i see, that's fair too. While m not exactly looking for a diagnosis, i posted this in hopes that someone could help me understand what's going on with me. I agree that talking to someone would really help, but I literally don't know if I can ever talk about it with someone I know. In the past anything I opened up about to my family would backfire at me with no emotional support. When I finally opened up to my best friend trusting them to lend me an ear... i was ghosted and then my trust was betrayed. The only place i can talk about anything now is anonymously online.
