Accumulated through a couple trips to Barnes & Noble throughout the month. Can you tell I like classic cinema? I also ordered Nightmare Alley (1947) and Ace in the Hole (1951) at the last second. 1. I plan on watching Show Boat first. Been meaning to watch because I've been catching up on classic musicals and I love Irene Dunne. 2. I've been wanting Trouble in Paradise the most, because I love Ernst Lubitsch. Waiting to watch it when I go back and watch a bunch of early 30s cinema, including the late 20s Lubitsch musicals. 3. They're all blind buys other than Wall•e, besides being familiar with the filmmakers, stars, or place in history. 4. Obviously I would want the Kubrick Set, but I don't think I'll be able to justify it for quite awhile. Same with Fellini. Probably will get Human Condition as my next big purchase.

1. I've watched a few of the pickups already. Sorcerer was the first. 2. Defending Your Life and All About Eve were on my wishlist for a while. No Country, Time Bandits were 4k upgrades from my Blu-ray I had already. 3. A majority of my purchases were blind buys. What's life without a little risk right? 4. 4k Silence of the Lambs and Frankenstein will be probably next buys in October (or November on next sale).
