An outsourced operations desk that rescues delayed third-party delivery orders before they become refunds, complaints, or cancellations.

Medium opportunity (64%)
Restaurants using third-party delivery platforms have limited control once an order encounters an incorrect address, inaccurate map pin, courier assignment delay, pickup wait, or routing failure. Restaurant staff, couriers, and customers then coordinate inconsistently through calls and messages, while estimated delivery times become unreliable. The evidence identifies the exception workflow, but does not establish how frequently restaurants will pay an independent provider to manage it.
Provide a managed delivery exception desk for a small group of multi-location restaurants. Staff monitor active orders, contact delayed couriers or customers, verify delivery locations, coordinate pickup readiness, document recurring failure points, and escalate refund or reassignment requests through existing platform support channels. Begin as a labor-assisted service using restaurant tablets, phone access, and standardized playbooks before developing any supporting software.
Restaurants increasingly depend on delivery marketplaces while retaining little operational control over marketplace routing and support. A service can be piloted without privileged platform integrations, although restricted account access and thin restaurant margins may constrain adoption.

Downloaded with good expectations, but as I proceeded with my first task, the client was negligent about the materials provided for the job, after visiting twice and provided consultation. Your time is not accounted for in this App if the clients makes a mistake with materials etc. they will just not pay you and waste your time. And not to talk of the charge they impose on the contractor not even the client. Poor overall and a waste of time as a contractor.
what is the point of estimating carryout times if your employees can't have the food ready remotely close to the time frame this app insists the food will be ready?
Unprofessional service This was an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. The driver was rude, unhelpful, and refused to follow the multiple directions I provided for the delivery. When I tried to explain where to leave the order, he simply responded, “I don’t care, that’s too much work.” He then left my order somewhere else and marked it as delivered even though it was not actually delivered to me. What made the situation even worse was the lack of help from customer service. I reached out for assistance, but they were also unhelpful and did not properly resolve the situation. I understand that deliveries can sometimes be difficult, but there is no excuse for speaking to a customer that way, refusing to follow basic delivery instructions, and marking an order as delivered when it wasn’t properly delivered. This was completely unprofessional and very disappointing.
