The Problem

Property managers adopting smart locks must coordinate hardware selection, wireless coverage, resident enrollment, permissions, and fallback access. Weak connectivity, disabled phone settings, device refresh problems, and security concerns can push residents back to physical keys even after installation.

Potential Solution

Offer a managed retrofit that begins with an onsite door, signal, and security assessment, then installs appropriate locks and configures resident access. The service includes a staffed launch, resident onboarding, physical-key or code-based contingencies, and ongoing troubleshooting under a monthly support plan.

Why Now?

Residents increasingly expect car-like proximity access, while newer local phone-to-lock technologies may reduce the failure points associated with older geofencing approaches. The growing variety of locks also increases the value of vendor-neutral selection and implementation.

Hate the extra step It definitely works, however, I would like to not have to open the app and hit the unlock button. I wish I knew of a way that it would automatically read as I approached the door and automatically click open

Convenience- Peace of mind - Secure This is a great app! I can let people in my home without leaving a key and I can check to make sure the door is closed. The ability to close it when I rush off to work without looking is priceless 🤪

It works… It’s a functional app but it isn’t very fast. There is a significant lag to launch the app and to open and close the garage. If I could change the speed it takes to alert operate the door that would be great. Linking to Apple home is frustrating as well. If there was a widget so quickly operate could be better
