The Problem

B2B and high-consideration Shopify stores often evaluate performance using session-based conversion rates even though customers may return several times before ordering. Store operators can locate suspicious funnel stages in analytics and session recordings, but frequently cannot connect behavior to specific blockers, design a controlled test, or determine whether a change increased revenue.

Potential Solution

Deliver a fixed-scope conversion audit that reconstructs the journey from product-page visit through repeat visits, add-to-cart, checkout, and purchase. The service combines funnel data with session-recording review, identifies the highest-confidence blockers, and implements or specifies one measurable experiment. Initial fulfillment can be manual and template-driven, with reusable data connectors and analysis components added after recurring patterns emerge.

Why Now?

Merchants have inexpensive access to detailed analytics and session recordings, but the evidence shows a persistent interpretation and experimentation gap. Longer B2B buying journeys make simplistic session conversion metrics especially misleading and increase the value of buyer-level analysis.

Getting ~60 store visits/day, but 0 sales.

Hey guys, I’m trying to figure out where my funnel is breaking and would appreciate some outside opinions. Current numbers are roughly: * Ad spend: \~$50/day * CPM: \~$45 * Store visits: \~60/day * Add to carts: \~10/day * Reached checkout: \~5/day * Purchases: 0 What confuses me is that people seem interested enough to add to cart, and around half of them even reach checkout, but then absolutely nobody completes the purchase. I’ve already gone through the cart to checkout process myself and checked for unexpected charges. There aren’t any surprise shipping costs, taxes, or additional fees being added at checkout. So I’m wondering what else could be causing such a big drop-off at the final step.

84 add-to-carts, 32 checkouts started, 0 real sales — checkout works fine end-to-end, what am I missing?

I run a small DTC Shopify store selling a physical, health & wellness-adjacent comfort product (keeping the niche vague on purpose). Been running Meta ads for a while, spent roughly $220 USD equivalent total, and I still have zero real paid orders. Trying to figure out if I'm missing something obvious or if this is just a "kill it" signal. Funnel so far (lifetime, all campaigns): \- 84 add-to-carts \- 32 checkout starts \- 4 people who entered at least some contact info before abandoning \- 0 completed orders Ad-side metrics look healthy: CTR 4-7%, reasonable CPM for my market. What I've already ruled out: \- Checkout being broken — tested a full purchase myself, including opening the actual ad from Instagram/Facebook's in-app browser on mobile (not just desktop/Safari), redirects correctly to my payment processor, cash and bank transfer options both work, no lag. \- Hidden shipping cost — shipping is free, shown upfront. \- Excessive form fields — only the essentials are required. \- Broken pixel — found and fixed a duplicate-event bug that was inflating my reported conversions in Ads Manager (it was showing "purchases" that never existed as real Shopify orders). \- My ad account also got flagged into a restricted data-sharing category around week 3, which limited optimization signal — currently in the process of getting that lifted. So checkout technically works, traffic is clicking, some people even start filling in their info — and then nothing. Small sample size (n=4 on the "entered some info" step) so I know I can't draw huge conclusions yet. Questions for anyone who's been here before: 1. With numbers this small, is 0 actually meaningful, or is this just normal noise before you hit real signal? 2. What would you check that I haven't listed above? 3. At what spend/sample size would you personally ca...

Great CTR, zero sales after $113 spent — what am I missing? (Shopify + Meta ads)

Hey everyone, hoping to get some outside perspective since I've been staring at this too closely for too long. **The product:** A home wellness/self-care device ($89–$199 depending on bundle), targeting the US market via Meta ads (Facebook + Instagram). **Where things stand after \~9 days live:** * Spend: \~$113 * Impressions: 3,411 * Clicks: 533 * CTR: 15.6% (yes, I know, seems too good — I've triple-checked this isn't a tracking error) * Add to Cart: 1 * Purchases: **0** **What I've already ruled out** (spent days on this, not guessing): * Pixel/tracking — confirmed firing correctly (PageView, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout all logging) * Checkout flow — tested manually multiple times, including through the actual in-app browser (not just Safari) * Payment processing — confirmed working via a real test transaction, shipped and tracked * Stock availability — confirmed live * Mobile experience — tested directly, works fine * Audience Network contamination — found that \~70% of my clicks were coming from Meta's Audience Network (game/app placements), which was dragging down my real conversion signal. Removed it. **What I suspect now:** * This might just be the classic "cold traffic doesn't convert on first touch" problem — research I've read suggests 6-8 touchpoints and up to 40 days before someone buys from a brand they've never heard of * I also just found my Terms of Service page still has unfilled placeholder text (like literally "\[INSERT BUSINESS ADDRESS\]") — which feels like a real trust-killer for anyone double-checking legitimacy before paying **What I'm looking for guidance on:** 1. Is 15%+ CTR with zero purchases actually a red flag at this spend level, or is this genuinely normal for a new store/pixel still gathering data? 2. Has anyone dealt with a similar "high engagement, zero conversion" pattern — what ended up being the real fix? 3. Is it too early to judge, or s...
