A done-for-you weekly meal planning service that builds dinners from what a household already owns before adding anything to the grocery list.

Busy households overbuy groceries, forget what is in the fridge or pantry, and default to takeout because meal planning starts from recipes instead of real inventory. The workflow is especially painful when recipes live across apps, cookbooks, social media, and saved links. Existing apps show demand, but many consumers still struggle with the recurring logistics of inventory, planning, and list cleanup.
Start as a productized weekly service where customers send fridge photos, pantry photos, receipts, and saved recipes, then receive a 5 to 7 day dinner plan using expiring and already-owned ingredients first. The deliverable includes a consolidated grocery list, substitutions, leftover usage, and prep notes. Over time, the repeated intake and planning workflow can become a lightweight software-assisted service or household meal operations product.
Consumers are actively building and testing pantry-first meal planning tools, suggesting the workflow is unresolved. Rising grocery costs and food waste concerns make a practical done-for-you version more compelling than another self-serve app.

I’ve been using the app for over 5 years- love it! The money I’ve saved by meal planning and the shopping list have easily paid for the annual fee!
Makes it easy! I’ve been using Plan to Eat for years. While I was hesitant about a subscription service, this one has been worth every penny. I share my login with my children and they help to keep the grocery list updated. I tell them that if they don’t put what they want on the list, they
Love it This is the best app we’ve used for grocery shopping! It imports recipes directly to a shopping list for you, whether they’re your own recipes or recipes from the app. My wife and I also made a staples list that saved on the app. For our weekly grocery trip we click on the staples list, scroll down the page and select all the staples we want to get that week, then we add on whatever else is needed for the week. One thing that I wish it had was a way
