Language-app users often accumulate vocabulary and reading progress but remain unable to hold a conversation or understand spoken Spanish. Automated speaking exercises frequently mishear learners, provide untrustworthy corrections, and fail to explain pronunciation, grammar, or regional usage. Learners therefore cannot tell whether the problem is their speech, the recognition system, or a missing language concept.
Offer a four-week conversation bridge combining an initial human speaking assessment, twice-weekly small-group practice, targeted pronunciation drills, and written corrections tied to each learner's recurring mistakes. Start with English-speaking adults learning Mexican Spanish, then productize the assessment rubric, lesson plans, coach training, and progress reports. Delivery should remain human-led until repeated learner errors justify adding specialized practice tools.
The signals show growing dissatisfaction with gamified progression, restricted practice, and inaccurate automated speech feedback, alongside explicit demand for speaking with real people. Established apps can remain the acquisition channel and self-study layer while this service supplies the missing transition to conversation.

Note: A substantial improvement would be to have a vocabulary section for words which already came up. Same for small practice sessions to revisit the vo
Tried using it, but some of the audio sounds AI-generated or has incorrect pronunciation. I won't pay for something that isn't teaching me what I need.
