The Problem

Older adults and people with limited mobility depend on delivery for groceries, water, and other heavy essentials, but marketplace drivers may reject heavy items, misplace orders, mishandle goods, or ignore delivery instructions. Refunds and promotional credits do not solve the immediate need for essential items, while store support is often difficult to reach.

Potential Solution

Operate a premium local grocery pickup and delivery service with vetted recurring drivers, confirmed substitutions, photographed handoff, and delivery to the customer's specified safe location. Customers can order from supported retailers or provide a shopping list, while the service handles pickup, heavy-item transport, delivery, and immediate resolution of missing or damaged goods.

Why Now?

Households increasingly rely on outsourced retail delivery, but inconsistent gig-driver accountability leaves a gap for a higher-trust local operator. The business can begin in one neighborhood with a vehicle, lifting equipment, and scheduled delivery routes.

Walmart: Shopping & Savings

Sellers shipping fee It’s upsetting that you pay for Walmart plus monthly, then you order multiple sweat suit sets from the same shipping company and each outfit is charged a 9.99 fee. I also ordered a few shirts same company and again at the end I see I’m charged a $5 and some change fee on each shirt. I feel logically or fairly the fee should be one flat fee for multiple items coming from the same seller. Can you see if there is a way to be reimbursed for multiple fees coming from same seller? Thank you for your time and look forward to hearing back from you !!
