Fixed-income portfolios may hold growing exposure to the same large technology issuers while treating each bond position as an isolated credit. Rapid issuance, widening spreads, rising real yields, and substantial lease commitments make it harder for portfolio managers to understand their combined exposure to one capital-spending cycle.
Provide a fixed-scope audit for bond funds, family offices, and wealth managers that maps holdings to AI infrastructure issuers, related lease commitments, maturity schedules, and refinancing scenarios. Deliver a reviewed exposure workbook, issuer concentration map, stress tests, and specific diversification or position-limit recommendations. Begin as an analyst-led consulting package and productize the repeatable data normalization and scenario templates after completing several engagements.
AI-related investment-grade issuance has accelerated sharply while buyers are reportedly approaching exposure limits and demanding larger concessions. Higher financing costs and opaque lease commitments make existing portfolio classifications less useful for assessing correlated credit risk.

And so, you know, one thing we learned, diversification is really, really important. And I think that's more of the concern. And you see it right now where the mag seven is actually underperforming the S&P 500. Why? Because the market's broadened out. And so I think it's important as you're managing it and as these big, huge companies come in, like if you own Anthropic and then, you know, you've got, let's say, OpenAI, ultimately, like you suddenly look at your portfolio and you go, wow, X percent of my portfolio is all tied to. And so I think that's a lot of AI and the growth of AI. And that might be too much exposure, especially because I'm not convinced the market has fully figured out how we're dealing with what used to be capital-like businesses that are now becoming capital-intensive businesses.
There's no sort of question about that. And you've got 11 or 12 companies, I think now, with over a trillion dollar valuation. Incredible, isn't it? That's a pretty big number. Led by NVIDIA, which is the world's most valuable company and sort of very much seen as the AI darling. It has broadened a bit. Yeah, but there's no getting away from the fact there is a concentration risk there. From our point of view, you know, we, in contrast to say a passive sort of, NASDAQ 100 following strategy, we actually run diversified portfolios. And yeah, we're quite positive about technology. It is a decent chunk of our portfolios, or aggressive portfolios.
