Small businesses and AP teams waste hours manually entering data from scanned invoices, receipts, and documents. Existing scanner apps are either bloated with unnecessary features, riddled with ads and subscriptions, or lack reliable OCR? and auto-crop capabilities. Users need a single tool that cleanly scans, extracts structured data, and routes documents to the right destination without friction.
A lightweight, AI-powered scanning tool that combines best-in-class document capture (auto-crop, border detection, multi-page PDF?) with intelligent OCR? that extracts invoice fields, receipt totals, and key document data automatically. Scanned documents can be routed directly to email, cloud folders, FTP, or accounting systems — turning a multi-step manual workflow into a single scan-and-done action.
AI-based OCR? accuracy has reached near-human levels in 2025-2026, making reliable automated data extraction accessible at low cost. Simultaneously, users are rejecting subscription-heavy, bloated scanner apps and demanding simpler, privacy-respecting alternatives — creating a clear gap in the market.

Recommend I recommend this app to many of my clients. I no longer have to look at 20 separate screenshots and instead enjoy one unified PDF. Bravo
Best App I Have On My Phone This app does exactly what it says it does, and it does it well. I can’t even imagine what the paid version does because the basic is already perfect for my needs. It just works. It is the only app I have that never tries to upsell me. No part of it is annoying to use. This is genuinely my favorite app and it’s because all the other apps are greedy displays of the decline of technology. Genius Scan is perfect.
No fuss straight to the point service. Update: Lately the ads are very intrusive. Each switch to the app you get shown a 30 second ad.
