People trying to lose weight or manage dietary restrictions struggle to convert nutrition targets into varied meals they can realistically prepare. Existing apps frequently provide inaccurate calories and macros, incomplete recipes, unsuitable protein or sodium levels, and recommendations that ignore vegan diets, chronic conditions, travel, or demanding work schedules. Users consequently spend time verifying calculations and rebuilding plans themselves.
Offer a recurring meal-planning concierge that collects each client's dietary constraints, schedule, cooking capacity, preferred foods, and clinician-provided nutrition limits. A trained planner creates a weekly menu, complete recipes, substitutions, and a consolidated grocery list, while a registered dietitian reviews higher-risk plans and verifies calories, macros, sodium, and protein. Begin with a manually delivered service and productize repeated planning and verification steps after learning which customer segments have the strongest retention.
Consumers are increasingly using AI for meal planning but explicitly distrust its nutrition calculations. At the same time, weight-loss treatments and condition-specific diets are creating demand for plans that fit medical guidance without becoming restrictive, repetitive, or impractical.

Using a youTube or website link to pull all instructions, ingredients and even macros is amazing. My only complaint is calories are calculated based on the portion size (eg. 6 people). This wouldn't be an issue if it recalculated when adjusting portion size. however this seems to be a one time feature. This results in your daily calories being in the thousands rather than per person. If updated then it's 5 stars from me.
this app is so nice. you do jave to put yourown recipes in but to plan it works well . you can set breakfast, lunch, dinner and a snack and prepopulate a week. the idea is having set menus that you can switch through every week. having more than one week is a paid for feature but its about R300 a year.
Very easy to add recipes using online links. There are some limitations in free mode but it doesn't really impact the experience in anyway. All you need is the free version. As a college student this has been the best meal prep app I've found for helping me with my meals and macros. ❤️
