Travelers whose confirmed rooms are unavailable, materially misrepresented, or uninhabitable must negotiate with both the hotel and the booking marketplace. Each party often redirects responsibility, while support delays, disconnected calls, missing receipts, and inconsistent promises leave travelers carrying replacement-stay charges. Most individual claims are too small for conventional legal help but large enough to cause meaningful financial harm.
Start as a human-managed claims service that assembles confirmations, photographs, receipts, support transcripts, and replacement-booking costs into a structured case. The operator pursues the appropriate sequence of written demands, escalations, card disputes, travel-insurance claims, and consumer complaints while maintaining a complete case record. Charge a fixed intake fee plus a percentage of recovered funds, with a higher-priced urgent relocation option for travelers denied a room at check-in.
The signals span multiple booking marketplaces and repeatedly describe automated support barriers, unresolved responsibility, and long refund delays. The same evidence package can be reused across marketplace escalation, property escalation, card disputes, and insurance claims, making the workflow suitable for a productized service.

Expedia Takes Your Money, But Won’t Stand Behind the Booking Expedia works fine when nothing goes wrong. The real problem starts when you actually need their help. I booked and paid for a hotel through Expedia. After checking in, I immediately found the room unsuitable, reported the problem to the hotel, and left. The hotel could not resolve the issue, so I had to pay for another hotel. When I contacted Expedia, they called the property but told me they
Scam artists! They don’t book anything but only use third-party and never give you your money back! I booked a hotel on this website and learned a very expensive and valuable lesson: they are nothing but tricksters and only book through third-parties! They have no actual relationships with hotels, but book through a third-party and collect a commission like any local petty travel agent. They promise that if you jump through all their hoops and cancel that they will give you your money back if the hotel agrees to it, but even if the hotel does agree to it, which in my case they did, you will never get your money back from Agoda. Buyers beware! They are not like hotels.com or Expedia! They are scam artists.
The price match guarantee is a scam. I provided all the information requested and they denied my price match. They will not honor any price match, they only advertise it to trick you into booking.
