Engineering teams need browser test coverage, but creating test plans, implementing scripts, and repairing broken selectors consumes scarce developer time. AI-assisted generation can accelerate the work, yet poorly reviewed output may introduce flaky tests, false confidence, and maintenance debt. Teams therefore need both faster test development and accountable human review.
Provide a fixed-scope service that maps critical user journeys, builds a Playwright test suite, and validates every generated test through code review and repeated execution. After launch, offer monthly maintenance covering failed-run triage, selector repairs, trace analysis, and updates for changed workflows. AI tools can assist delivery internally, while experienced test engineers retain responsibility for strategy and final quality.
Playwright now supports a planning, generation, and repair workflow that can reduce delivery effort, while practitioner concerns about unreliable AI-generated tests create demand for human oversight. This makes a productized managed service more credible than another autonomous testing tool.
