People abandon nutrition tracking because logging every meal is slow and repetitive, while automated photo estimates can be inaccurate and difficult to correct. Existing products also lose records, fail to recognize purchases, and add interface friction to a habit that must happen several times each day. These failures undermine trust in the entire tracking workflow.
Offer a managed logging service in which customers send meal photos and short notes through SMS?, and trained reviewers produce an editable calorie and macro entry using portion references and ingredient follow-up questions. Begin with a narrow customer segment, such as recreational strength athletes who need consistent macro records but do not require clinical nutrition care. Deliver a verified daily log and weekly export, then productize repeated estimation, correction, and reviewer-quality workflows as volume grows.
Photo-based calorie estimation is attracting paid users, but the signals show that inaccurate results and weak correction workflows still destroy trust. A human-in-the-loop service can provide dependable outcomes immediately while collecting the structured examples needed for later productization.

Needs bug fixes Helpful to track but the latest update is very inaccurate with calculations. If you use a picture from the previous lunch, it will add it to the day the photo was taken. It also defaults to whatever meal matched the time of day. For example, I added breakfast at lunch time and despite choosing breakfast, it still puts it as lunch. It’s frustrating and adds steps to something that should work better.
Works well enough I downloaded the app as part of a weight loss plan through my health insurance. It does passable job at assigning calories and macros based on photos. Unfortunately, it can be very slow to load and does not always upload photos first time. If you’re going to use this app, I recommend saving photos of your food in case they do not upload the first time. At times the estimated calories are wildly inaccurate. I have also had issues with i
Almost perfect Very helpful for work with a dietitian and increasing accountability with recovery. I wanted to report a bug that keeps happening when I log a meal from a photo. When I add information it OMITS it every time when I add details in the pop up text box. I have to re-enter them every time after the AI analyzes the photo. Would appreciate if this was fixed.:)
