The Problem

Consumers facing duplicate charges, ignored cancellations, failed credits, or unauthorized payments must navigate fragmented support channels while their money remains unavailable. They often possess receipts, screenshots, and support messages but do not know how to organize them into an effective merchant escalation or card dispute. The repeated failure is the recovery workflow, not a defect unique to one app.

Potential Solution

Offer a managed dispute service that collects transaction records, cancellation evidence, platform messages, and applicable policies, then prepares a dated evidence package and tailored escalation letters. The service can guide the buyer through filing with the merchant and card issuer, track deadlines, and handle follow-up communications where authorization permits. Start with fixed-fee packages for disputed digital-platform charges above a defined value.

Why Now?

Digital platforms increasingly mediate high-value purchases while routing exceptional billing cases through limited or scripted support. Consumers now have abundant digital evidence but lack an efficient process for turning it into a coherent dispute.

Milkbasket: Grocery Delivery

Was using this app on daily basis for an year with their paid membership plan, which waives off delivery charges. However, recently they have introduced small cart fee if your cart amount is below 100 on daily basis. Despite having an active membership which I have already paid for, to avoid delivery charges, these extra charges apply. This is really a fraud, as they do not highlight anything about small cart fee while selling the membership. Will stop using this app, can't be trusted anymore.

Fraud charges I was presented with a ride charge of 28.90. When I approved Apple Pay for the ride they didn’t charge me what I approved instead they charged me $153.60 which I never approved. This is straight out fraud. I contacted support and basically they tried to inform me it was from 5 years ago which they still haven’t provided an invoice for me to review. Totally a horrible way to do business. If I had an outstanding charge why did they contact me 5 years ago moving forward?

Uber Eats: Food and Grocery

gotta change my rating because they overcharged me for an item I reported missing instead of a refund. they literally adjusted my receipt and took extra money out of my account... make it make sense... and the sad part was it was adjusted 2 hours after I first placed my order... I'll just stick with doordash. can't trust you all anymore
