Lacks Consistency! Rude Staff! Not LGBTQ+ (pronoun) friendly! Hi! I have been using this app for a little over 6 months. The app lacks consistency of information. One person will increase time/fee and another will say that you should’ve asked before getting the assignment. Staff members have the tendency to be incredibly rude and passive aggressive. I have submitted assignments that took almost 5 days to be approved (even though they say review takes 3 days). On multiple occasions I have asked questions in the general section and nobody has responded or they just simply didn’t answer the question. Also, THERE IS NO SAME DAY CASH OUT OPTION!!! And if you cash out at a certain time then the money will take 48 hours (instead of 24) to deposit into your account. None of this is a big deal, unless they send you to the mountains to a property that does not give you access. And then there’s also no phone number to call the client. Oh and then the app may lose its signal. So you can’t message Proxy until you’ve traveled down the mountain. And then it takes days for them to give you the money……or they try to send you back to the site without paying for the first trip. Or even communicating effectively. Because remember, RUDE AND PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE STAFF!!! There’s also no option for pronouns/preferred name. So if you happen to be transitioning/transgender then get accustomed to hearing that government name, repeatedly. There’s little to no support from Friday afternoon to Monday morning; so take weekend jobs with caution. All-in-all, if you have no other options then the app is fine. Note that I do this part time and I still don’t really recommend. I have been to highly racist areas, threatened, attacked by pets of multiple species, been lost in the mountains (no phone signal), damaged my tires (construction sites and gravel roads), gone to site multiple times (and I was right the first time but not paid for both trips), flipped-off, and cussed out. And on top of all of that, there’s a HIGHLY PASSIVE AGGRESSIVE STAFF. I’ve done the late night photo shoots that freeze you to your bones and ran in and out of traffic on highways (trying to get a street shot). I don’t feel the app is created with safety in mind. If so, there’d be true 24/7 assistance. Also, you need all wheel drive or 4 wheel drive for a lot of assignments. And nobody will tell you the vehicle requirements!!! Some associates are sweet/polite. However, those interactions are few and far between. No, the app is not a scam. Using it just makes you feel like you’re being scammed through poor communication/support, rude staff, low fees in relation to travel, damage to vehicles with no repair/gas assistance (even Uber gives you fuel and vehicle repair discounts), no pronoun/preferred name options, lack of information about the site(s), and lack of instant cashing out options. Maybe the app would be better if they sold it to a company that actually cared. Save your time and choose a different app. Or get this one but use it sparingly. Like when you want some extra funds for fun and not for bills. Good luck!
