A lightweight Android home screen that imports existing layouts, protects them from accidental changes, and remains reliable across devices and operating-system updates.

Medium opportunity (66%)
Android users want a home screen that is fast, calm, and customizable, but current launchers repeatedly force tradeoffs between simplicity, control, and reliability. Reviews describe difficult migrations, lost folders and widgets, accidental layout changes, sluggish navigation, device-specific failures, and abandoned products. Rebuilding a carefully organized home screen after switching launchers or phones is especially painful.
Build a lightweight launcher centered on layout portability and resilience rather than maximum feature count. Its core would include guided migration, automatic versioned backups, one-tap rollback, layout locking, manual and automatic app organization, accessible search, widgets, and optional distraction controls. Maintain a tested compatibility catalog for popular Android devices and clearly disable unsupported behaviors instead of failing unpredictably.
Users are actively seeking replacements for aging or unsupported launchers, while Android device and operating-system fragmentation continues to create reliability problems. The reviews also show willingness to pay for stable, fairly priced launchers that receive ongoing support.

Was quick & easy to migrate from Nova using file import. Easy to customise with flexible grid layout and adaptive icons. Found a bug where my 3 custom homescreens get reset to default Launcher page layout when adding an icon, which meant restoring from backup but I have since found that restarting, Launcher from Troubleshooting menu fixes it. Developers quick to respond though. Only slight gripe is that icons can't be stacked in folders like in Nova. Gre
The Best Launcher for Android TV! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Monet Launcher is easily one of the best launchers available for Android TV. The experience is incredibly smooth, bug-free and lag-free, even on devices that aren’t exactly high-end. The interface looks clean, modern, and premium. It honestly gives me Apple TV vibes while still keeping the flexibility and customization of Android TV. Everything feels well-organized, responsive, and easy to navigate. What I especially
