The Problem

Generic tutorials assume symmetrical features, ample eyelid space, and standard eye-shape labels. People with hooded, round, low-brow, or uneven eyes struggle to place wings, shape brows, and adapt reference looks, often wasting products and losing confidence.

Potential Solution

Offer a paid virtual or local lesson in which a makeup artist maps the client's eyes and brows, demonstrates techniques on each side, and coaches the client through applying the look themselves. Deliver an annotated face map, product recommendations, and short personalized demonstration clips so the client can reproduce the result.

Why Now?

Short-form beauty content creates abundant inspiration but leaves an adaptation gap for people whose features differ from those in tutorials. Smartphone cameras and video calls make personalized instruction deliverable without opening a salon.

Looking for makeup improvement tips and recommendations
You have a really nice eye color! They would pop a lot with a moss green or a purple. I would try some liners/shadows and see what you like! I also think you could go darker on the brows— if you wanna do a high contrast eyeliner it helps to have the brows be high contrast as well, so it looks more cohesive! Id specifically try and eyebrow pencil or gel that is closer in color to your hair :)

Need Advice: Hooded Eyes And a High Brow Line look
How fun! I can think of a few quick ways to clean this up that aren’t really related to hooded eyes, because I think the initial shape you went with is already good! I also really like the purple tones with your eye and skin color. - Your two eyes are different colors. One has pale shimmer on the eyelid, the other is purple all the way across. - the eyeliner isn’t all the way near your lash line across the top. Lift your eyelid to roll some of the extra lid skin out of the way/access right next to your lash line with the pencil. - waterline isn’t even - the eyeliner covers some parts of it, but leaves skin showing in other spots. Get a good solid line across there/even it out, and then blend that down past your lower lash line with a mid-toned eyeshadow. - either blend or sharpen up the lines! There are fuzzy but defined lines between the black and purple. Either blend the black in with a clean brush after applying - if it’s done with eyeliner, adding dark eyeshadow on top of the eyeliner can help with blending. If you want a more graphic look, go in with a heavier hand and use q-tips with makeup remover to sharpen the lines up. Setting with dark eyeshadow afterward can help that shape move less after you get it right. Blend the top of the eyeshadow shape into skin-toned eyeshadow so it disappears seamlessly into your brow skin. - mascara! The dark liner looks harsh against lighter lashes. Mascara will make all of the colors look more seamless. - fill in your brows with a light brown-taupe-ish eyeshadow to erase sparse spots/even out the shape. - add some sort of base - dark eyeshadow will make the rest of your skin look uneven without some foundation or powder.

Your eyes are gorgeous! For hooded lids try applying the darkest shade only on the outer corner and keep shimmer right on the center of the lid so it still shows when open
