People depend on fitness apps to remember completed workouts and their position within multiweek programs, but recurring account and synchronization failures can erase that record. Lost history forces users to restart programs, undermines motivation, and leaves external workouts or wearable metrics scattered across incompatible systems. The evidence extends beyond a single isolated bug, although most signals come from one product ecosystem.
Build a consumer-owned workout record that imports activities from major health repositories, accepts manual or photo-based entries, and lets users map completed sessions to a training program. Maintain an append-only history with visible corrections, backups, and portable exports so accidental deletion or account confusion does not destroy progress. Start as a focused software product rather than reproducing workout videos, coaching, or social fitness features.
Fitness activity is increasingly split among workout apps, smartwatches, gyms, and health repositories, while the reviews show persistent gaps in history retention and metric transfer. Existing platform health stores provide enough common data to build a narrow continuity layer before pursuing direct integrations with individual training apps.

I enjoy the app I really love the app. I think the only problem I have is how long it takes sometimes for my steps to sync, but I think it’s a phone problem versus an app problem. other than that, I needed something to help me keep track of how many steps I do every day that was more thorough compared to the normal iOS Health app. i’ve also tried some of the exercises and enjoyed them as well.
My always-working app It’s motivating to have my steps counted, so I always have my phone in a pocket. I’ve had other pedometers and this is the best for (a) actually counting all the steps and (b) NOT counting movements that are not steps (such as knitting!). It’s also good to look back over records from previous months or years. Still feel the same way. Don’t even mind the subscription fee.
My Fav This tracker is the only way I hold myself accountable… it reminds me what I need to do… it is my workout buddy
