The Problem

After discovering infidelity, people often cycle between leaving, attempting reconciliation, and questioning their own judgment. General relationship advice is inconsistent and emotionally charged, while conventional therapy may take weeks to access and may not immediately address the decision at hand.

Potential Solution

Offer a therapist-led program beginning with an urgent individual session, followed by a structured trust and relationship assessment and separate recovery plans for reconciliation or separation. Delivery can combine licensed counseling, practical boundary-setting exercises, and referrals to couples therapy, legal help, or safety resources when appropriate.

Why Now?

The signals show repeated requests for immediate guidance after betrayal and recurring concern about lasting trust damage. A narrowly defined, rapidly accessible service can complement longer-term therapy without pretending that every relationship should be repaired.

So he left...
You need a reality check. He cheated on you. He didn’t make one terrible mistake and immediately come clean either. He cheated, lived with it for a year, and then eventually told you because the guilt was getting too much for him. You keep saying that you could’ve worked it out, and begging him to go to counselling, but why are you fighting this hard for someone who chose to betray you? He has found an apartment, paid the deposit and left. He has made his decision. And the fact that he kissed you, cuddled you, told you to have a nice day and cleaned the house before leaving doesn’t change what happened. He can love you and still have cheated on you. Those things aren’t mutually exclusive. Please have some self-respect. Stop begging him to stay and stop trying to convince him that your relationship can be saved when he has already decided to walk away. Let him go. You can be devastated, you can cry, you can still love him, but don’t chase someone who was willing to risk losing you in the first place.
