People who maintain dozens of Google task lists cannot efficiently search, aggregate, reorder, or navigate them on an iPhone. Calendar synchronization, recurring-task controls, notifications, and widgets can also be unreliable or incomplete, disrupting a personal system used throughout the day.
Build a native companion client that synchronizes with Google Tasks and provides fast search, an all-tasks view, list reordering, rescheduling, recurring-task controls, and scheduled-task widgets. Begin with read-through synchronization and safety controls, then add editing and conflict handling after proving synchronization reliability.
Recent reviews describe longtime users actively seeking alternatives after crashes, removed navigation features, and persistent feature gaps. Their existing dependence on Google Calendar makes a compatible companion more practical than requiring migration to an unrelated task system.

Have been looking for another task app ever since the one from a major tech company deteriorated in terms of functionality. Think I've found a great replacement with this app. I've only used it for about a week so far but it does what I need it to do and has nice customisation features. The only thing I haven't figured out is how to search for a task across all the lists instead of having to do it within each individual list!
Finally, a task app that handles regenerating Tasks from completion date very well. App is very customizable, almost at granular level. It would be nice to be able to list Google Calendar Events (not Tasks) in the widget as well, either view-only or with edits managed by Google Calendar, but this app still worthy of 5 stars. Subscription very affordable, with pay-what-you-want option (for limited paid features but still worth it). Subscription very recomm
Bring back reminders! Tasks is missing features - for example, you can still only one-time-delete a recurring task from the calendar, not from the tasks app. I miss the old Reminders functionality, which was complete and did not need upgrading.
